The scooter is supposed to get 60-65mpg after break-in. My first tank was at 42mpg. My second tank (this time with a little highway) was 46.5mpg. I have talked to the guys on the Yamaha Majesty yahoo group and they are saying that since I'm still in the break-in period, that my mpg will get a lot better as temps increase and up to 1500 miles on the odometer. I will keep very close track of this.

Please keep updating us on what you find as the miles pile up. One of the big reasons I stayed with my 250 Helix was for the mileage advantage over something larger. I'm anxious for you to prove me only slightly right. ;)
Coop: I'm fairly irritated with myself. I got gas yesterday and like I always do, I wrote my trip meter miles on the receipt, but this time I misplaced the receipt!! If I can't find it, I will post next tank mpg for sure! Thanks for following along. I think including you now I have a huge group of follower on this blog!! I always liked the look of the Helix!
Weasel,
I do and have done the same. Since I don't like 20 minute refueling stops, I often cram the receipt too quickly somewhere and more than one of them have been lost.
September's 1610 miles on the new-to-me Helix yielded an average of 70.2MPG. The majority of my riding is on the backroads, some highway miles in order to find the backroads as well. I spend very little time in the urban areas.
Kudos to you on your blog. I'm going to enjoy my time here.
