First 2009 louisville Scooter Group meeting at Culvers!

Joan on her Reflex, me on the Majesty, and Ken on his white Vespa (now with all new matching full face white Scorpion helmet) attended the first of this year's Culver's Ride, Greet N' Eat meetings. We'll be having these every month from here on out, on the first Tuesday. If you're around, or in town at 5:30-6pm, come join us. Culver's [4630 S Hurstbourne Pkwy] has good food, plenty of space to park, and its agreed their frozen custard is goooood! Needless to say I used up my full allotment of carbs for the week...

We chatted about the BV500 and other scoots, rallies, and the threat (and ecology) of deer. Until yesterday I did not know that the exact same species of deer grew hugely bigger in certain areas of the U.S. and greatly smaller--with hardly any rack at all--in other areas. Joan has had more encounters on two wheels with deer than I ever have. I hope the statistics remain frozen for us both on that point!

Ken plans a ride out to Taylorsville Lake on Saturday. He has not announced his meeting place or times yet. We congregate at the google group for information. It's located at www.louisvillescooter.org of course! Join us if you want!!
